Live streaming is the distribution of your content over the Internet to your audience in real time. Most AM/FM stations use live streaming because they create their own content and simulcast it on the Internet. There are several ways to create and distribute content. For live streaming all you need is a PC or Mac with an audio or mic input, streaming software (which we can provide) and an Internet connection. Simply plug your audio into the audio input on your computer, turn on the software and it will send the stream to us. Our servers power your stream to reach your audience worldwide. If you need help or have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us here.
Auto DJ is a Source or Content Delivery System for Radio servers. It allows you to keep your radio online 24/7 without having to run a source (eg Winamp or SAM Broadcaster) from your computer. You can upload your music files to Auto DJ and they will play from the server, meaning you may switch your PC off overnight and your stream will still be on air for people to listen to.
Yes, you can stop Auto DJ at any time – allowing you to connect directly to your station. We also provide a DJ access password (which you can specify seperately to your main account) to allow your DJ’s to stop Auto DJ from broadcasting, which will then let them stream their shows to your Radio server.
Yes, you can. Of course, not at the same time. You will be able to stream from different computers or locations but not at the same time. What mean is in order to another DJ have access to stream his live streaming you will need to stop your live streaming to leave the connection open for another live feed.
All you need is a computer runing Windows, Mac OSX or Linux and a broadband internet connection. Advanced users could also use a mixer and add a microphone, maybe 2 computers one for the automation system running the music and the second computer to run the commercials. Terrestrial FM Radio Stations could use a dedicated hardware solution such as a Barix Instreamer 100. Barix Instreamer 100 is a Standalone IP Audio Encoder Device. That way Barix act like an encoder, receiving the audio and send it to our servers without having a computer encoding the audio.

However our Auto DJ doesn’t require you to connect yourself, as the Auto DJ will connect and stream on your behalf. You will simply need to upload audio in the form of MP3s in the client area and enable the Auto DJ. It will play the MP3s you’ve uploaded and you’ll be free to use your computer as you like.

Automation software basically runs your radio station automatically. You set up the parameters, music rotations, where you want voice overs, promos, ads and other content to play and it does everything while you go do something else. There are several high quality automation programs for PC and Mac. You won’t need automation software however if you’re using a cloud server.
